We will get to see photos as soon as I can afford to get the film produced. I think I am the last person in the whole country who doesn't have a digital camera! And you are welcome for the story about that night - I needed to make a clean breast of it so I could move on, and you guys are helping me with that.

That was a lovely piece of laying-your-heart-on-the-page writing, I must say. :) I don't know you and yet I feel so happy for you right now that you were able to say to Jensen what you wanted to say (and it was a beautiful thing to want to say, btw). I'm quite sure the moment you shared with him will pop back into his mind from time to time, for being told that something you've done has essentially changed another person's approach to life is one amazing thing to be informed of, I should think. Good on you! :)

And I love how you described their eyes and handshakes and smiles and bodies (and not just because, wow, I SO want to know what their bodies feel like! *grin*). It was like you gave us the whole experience. Thank-you for that. It made it extra special.

How lovely, how very lovely of you to say...cause that's what's been rattling in my brain, the "why it matters" thing. You did a great job describing what it's like to meet them. What a treat! I feel for you on the "aftermath" part. It's just one of those things. But! Here's part of a poem, written by a famous actor, to prove that - most actors, anyway - experience that feeling themselves. After performances that mean a lot to them, they are also kinda caught just wondering whether we really got what they were trying to say... it's a two-way street that you walk down and past... and you are far from alone! :) *hugs*

Left you a comment at your blog, but just wanted to say that I had a simiilar experience, that weird persistent sense of regret even tho you know it's kind of silly, after I didn't meet Jensen at A Few Good Men either. Didn't really let up until I'd met him at ComicCon and gotten the chance to deliver my own version of that 'little speech in my head'. LOL. But he's a thoughtful guy, I have a feeling he sometimes takes away more than you might think from those encounters, and might have been quite pleased that he inspired you like that. Keep writing, I love your SPN epguides on pinkraygun!

I think it's great that we both got to deal with our feelings of regret in such a direct way - and we can hope that he heard us, eh? He must have heard something!
