You can read my review of the Supernatural episode "Nightshifter" at pinkraygun.com. Thank you!
An excerpt:
"Hendrickson knows, man, he knows about how The Dad dragged those kids from pillar to post, raising them up in cheap motels and backwoods cabins, and just as I’m leaning forward for MORE delicious factoids like these, Hendrickson switches into opinion mode because he can’t figure out whether The Dad was a survivalist nut job, a Unabomber, or what. He rattles on to be insulting but simply doesn’t know and is just trying to get Dean’s goat. (Which he had, as they say, at hello.) And Dean says, “You don’t know crap about my dad. He was a hero.” I love, love, love Dean in this scene, it might be my favorite scene in the whole ep (besides Sam’s mandroid line), on account of Dean’s shoulders go back and his chin comes up and there’s a whole lot of love and pride running through him. Plus, yeah, I loved the factoids about where the boys lived when they were growing up. Show needs to give fangirls like me MORE like this, and right away, if not sooner. Otherwise I’ll just make stuff up and it’ll be a whole lot darker than what Show had planned."
On the phone with Hendrickson...
Sexy with flashlight...

Playing the part...

Wanting to keep Ron safe...

You brought a knife, DEAN?

Didn't want to come in naked...

Dither in the dark...

Sam is so screwed...

Dean is so screwed...

The song was actually the highlight of the whole episode. It's truly a great episode. And of course, Dean's long and curly eyelashes. *giggles*
And Sam is a trained killer. WOW! That's creepy now that you wrote it. We saw him kill Gordon also with almost bare hands. The wire was just the extension of his strong hands. He would have killed Gordon even without the wire.
But I would love meet him anyway. *grins*

Date: 2008-08-07 01:42 pm (UTC)Sam makes a very impressive FBI agent, in spite of his hair being Brylcreemed back over his ears.
Why, oh why, is he always styling his lovely hair in such a terrible way when he's interviewing people? It makes me want to shove his head under a tap because it looks so greasy.
let’s talk about Ron for a minute.
Whee, I love Ron. He's great. He reminds me of a sweet and good-natured Newfoundland. I really felt for him when Sam was so harsh. If only Show hadn't killed him. Sigh. I'm still mourning his death.
Dean...adorably holding the pen against his middle finger
Ok, this going to sound really stupid, but since that's exactly the way I hold a pen (and I'm sure I don't look half as adorable as Dean while doing it) I have to ask: Is there another (more correct?) way to hold a pen? Are you supposed to hold it against your index finger only?
It’s hard to imagine how those coveralls could look so good on them, hiding every inch of skin and toned muscle as they do, but they do, they do.
Sometimes I wish they hadn't taken off the coveralls as soon as Ron was secured. Their backsides looked so nice in them...
Special Agent Victor Hendrickson
And here comes another guy that I love. Too bad he didn't last too long either. :(

Oh, please do make up stuff! *encouraging nod* And if it's dark, all the better. I'm greedy for details, and if Show isn't willing to offer them, I'll take them from fellow fans.
Sam...is a trained killer when you get down to it...because he’s able to take down not one but TWO trained and armed SWAT guys with his bare hands.
Good lord, that scene is a killer. I always get weak knees when I watch it. GUH!
the last scene, the classic, oft-discussed scene with only one line of dialog and that way cool Styx song “Renegade.”
Squee!
Fantastic review all around!

I think it's just a quick and easy fix for Show, but whenever Sam has his hair like this, he seems more stern, more adorably pissed off about the WHOLE thing, it's like a signal that fun stuff is coming, because he inevitably will glare at Dean, which is ever fun.

He was us on this show. Fans. We would have gotten as far as he did with figuring it out and then bungled the whole thing. Poor sweet Ron.

Sorry...I counted fingers wrong this time around. I meant that Dean (and Ackles apparently) holds his writing implement against his ring finger rather than his middle finger, which is what most people do. I adore it for some reason that he writes like he does.

We should have had more long body shots come to that......
Special Agent Victor Hendrickson

He was pretty potent when he was onscreen, an intelligent adversary all the way around and a REAL threat, but I reckon Show figured he was expendable, alas.

Fellow fans have tons of good factoids, made up, conjectured, postulated, extrapolated...and here's the reclist I swear by....all the stories are categorized so you can easily avoid those subject matters that squick you, and focus on what you like. Also, Amalthia is a stickler for character voice.

Sometimes I wonder Show realizes how hot it is when Sam does this sort of thing, but surely by fangirls responses, they know, and they should give us MORE of this!
