You can read my review of the Supernatural episode “Crossroads Blues” at pinkraygun.com. Thank you!

An excerpt:

"It must have been coming on sunset when they filmed, with the light slanting through the trees from the west. Both boys are lit up like Christmas morning. Dean circles around Sam, who watches as his brother digs and then joins in the dither about graveyard dust and black cat bones. You can count the freckles across the bridge of Dean’s nose, and you could spin a rope from the thickness of Sam’s eyelashes. You can see the green glitter glint of Dean’s eyes, and the hard planes of Sam’s jaw. They’re stunning and beautiful and almost unearthly here. It’s amazing that Show doesn’t figure out how glorious this looks and film ALL of their scenes at this time of day. I’m sure that the fact that they don’t is a punishment for some past sin of mine, or maybe it’s that Show knows that if it gives me too many daylight scenes like this, I’ll just become jaded and spoiled."

Very poetic, my dear! Dean is a wild mustang! Love that last pic of Dean and Sam in the diner. Sam is so round with muscle he's voluptuous!

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Somehow I'm not surprised that you liked the diner picture the best. It was my favorite too, although it's not what would normally be considered a beautiful picture, or an amazing shot. But it's evocative, of their lives, what goes on every day. Plus they're sitting knee to knee, which is always happiest!

As for the wild mustang comment, oh man! I'd just got done watching a movie called The Wild Horse Redemption, which was first shown at the Sundance Film Festival. It's a movie about convicts who are given 90 days to tame a wild mustang. One of the convicts was working on a huge horse called Samson. He called it "Sam" so naturally...anyway, the horse was pretty much untamable, too spooky to be used in the regular manner. At one point, Sam kicked the convict SO hard, you could hear the crack of bone. It didn't break his leg, but you could hear that 'click' sound as bone met bone. So then, in the very next ep I was reviewing, there's Dean, lifting his leg to KICK, and so...yeah, he's a mustang alright! Here's the link for more about the movie:
